Kevin and I met in grade 9 in high school. But he and his family moved to Kingston midway through grade 10. 10 years later we ran into each other at a bar where he was with some of our old high school friends and he asked me out on a date and the rest is history. We were dating for 4 years before getting married on our 5 year anniversary.
I saw the Chic Bridals line at the Wedding/Bridal Show in Toronto during the fashion and I fell in love with the styles. I immediately walked to her booth and made an appointment at her pop-up shop. I made this appointment being engaged for only 2 weeks and not even having a date or a venue, but I knew I had to get it from this store!
My dress inspiration was Princess ball gown since I was getting married in a castle!! (Casa Loma)
This was the first place I tried on a wedding dress. The store was reserved for just my family and I and it was super intimate. Noor personally did the appointment herself and she paid attention to all the details I was looking for. She even let me add customizations to my dress to make it more my style. Even after going to multiple boutiques after, I kept gravitating back to Chic Bridals. There was originally a dress I fell in love with but it only came in black but I could not commit to it without seeing the version in white - Noor personally called from Ottawa informing me she would ship over the white version for me to try on in her Toronto store before it officially opened. She seriously went above and beyond. I will forever recommend Chic Bridals!
Despite trying over 30 dresses in my hunt at various other boutiques, I couldn't stop comparing it to the dress I tried on at Chic Bridals. I continuously would open the image gallery on my phone to revisit the dress and I got the chills every time! Unlike other stores, who carry the same designer gowns, I loved that Noor hand designed each style and truly let me add my own personal touches to make my dress one of a kind.
I've recommended Chic Bridals to all my engaged friends! Because I am also a wedding vendor, I've also mentioned this store to a few upcoming bridals who are still on the hunt for their dresses.
